Features:
This charming Hotel combines modern and traditional design features, resulting in a one-of-a-kind combination of furnishings and facilities that appeal to guests from all walks of life. Though many hotels provide the basics, this one offers several extras that make it stand out.
Lets look at the following features:
Restaurant:
Glenisle hotel’s chefs get great satisfaction from making delicious new meals using local and seasonal ingredients. It changes its menus with the seasons to use locally grown produce.
This Hotel chose soothing colours to highlight the sandstone walls and the polished wooden planks, creating an outstanding setting in which to relax and take pleasure in one’s surroundings while appreciating one’s meal, a glass of wine, and the company of others.
Snug & Bar:
The name “Talisman Bar” originates from the steamboat that was used to go from Glasgow to Lamlash. This is where the journey took around three days. In addition to the local cuisine, they provide an impressive selection of whiskies and ales that are made on the Isle of Arran.
In addition to coffee, it offers a selection of other drinks as well, including cappuccino, latte, and espresso, among others. The range and depth of its tea offering is unrivalled anywhere else on the Island, which is one of the reasons I am so happy with it.
Lounge & Library:
In the Library & Lounge, you may relax with a drink, read a book, play a game of bridge, or get together with friends.
You can even play scrabble!
It has stunning vistas that stretch over Lamlash Bay and onto the Holy Isle, and it may be found right at the building’s entrance on the very front. During the winter, its open fire offers a safe refuge that is warm and cosy.
Terrace & Gardens:
The wide and ancient walled garden that surrounds the hotel, in addition to the terrace that extends down the side of the building, together create a haven of tranquillity that is encircled by the hotel.
Guests are welcome to enjoy their meals, including lunch, morning coffee, or afternoon tea and cakes, on the terrace, while taking in the spectacular views of Lamlash Bay and the Holy Isle.
Location:
There are many different restaurants and shopping spots near this Hotel. In Whiting Bay you can visit “The Shore” for such delicious cuisines with a fantastic view of the beach. Its specialty is vegan food, but you’ll also get nonvegan ones.
If you need seafood, in Corrie you can go to Mara Fish Bar & Deli; there are all types of seafood items. Along with if you want something Desi and Indian that you can get all your desires at Indian Garden opposite Lamlash High School.
Moreover, you can also gift your loved ones if I come to shopping spots. We’ll recommend some places that you can visit, such as Isle of Arran Cheese Shop (you can buy all types of cheese), Red Door, Arran Asia (the best gift shop), and Cladach Pottery (if you like gardening items).
Review Glenisle Hotel
This Hotel has received more than one thousand reviews and has a high overall rating on trip advisior.
We were able to check out this Hotel, and we’d like to tell you about the experience here.
Our rooms were beautiful; they were warm, clean, and cosy.
After spending the day hiking in the wet weather, it was quite helpful that the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower to allow us to spruce up before having a evening drink at the bar.
For both of our evenings, for dinner, we were served a dish beyond our expectations in terms of flavour and they looked good too!
Their service was excellent, and I would like to thank their manager and the rest of the front-of-house and kitchen staff. The personnel’s warmth and sense of humour contributed to the quality of our experience throughout our stay. The Hotel is a peaceful place to hang out, whether in the bar, lounge, or beer garden, which offers spectacular views on sunny days.
We cannot wait till the next time we get to visit! We had a lovely time.
