The whole place is accessible by car. Its also a wonderful place to enjoy food. Arran offers a variety of local food that one can sample.

1 – Glenisle Hotel
This charming hotel is a favourite on Arran Island.
The Glenisle hotel is one of the best hotels we found while looking for couples weekends away. It won the Scottish Romantic House award.
It is also an excellently located hotel that sits within the village of Lamlash. The hotel offers guests a panoramic view over Lamlash Bay towards the Holy Isle.
The hotel also provides a private terrace facing to the sea to relax while enjoying a view of the ocean.
Prices range from £60 to £180 for each night based upon the chosen time of booking.
Free private parking is provided and free wifi internet is offered.
2 – The Douglas Hotel
The Douglas Hotel ( 4-star ) is an excellent Hotel on the Island of Arran and the first you will see when arriving on the island.
This acclaimed Arran hotel is famous for its friendly staff and great reviews. Tradition meets modern elegance and on the veranda, you get an incredible view of Brodick Bay.
It’s one of the great Arran hotels with many rooms that have stunning views of the mountain peaks and Goat Fell and it is within walking distance of Brodick Castle,
Guests may enjoy a contemporary Douglas Bistro within the Douglas Hotel and dine on locally produced Arran food.
The hotel is on the ideally situated isle of Aaron, two minutes from Brodick Ferry Terminal.

3 – Auchrannie Resort
This idyllic resort is up at the top of the list of quality hotels on the Isle of Arran.

The Auchrannie Resort is the largest hotel in Arran and definitely one of the island’s more popular hotels.
Guests have all that is needed at this Resort / Leisure Park.
The hotel has a swimming pool, a restaurant, a gym, an outdoor playground and a spa.
It is a place that provides fun for everyone and there is plenty of walks and other activities available on its doorstep. Then come back and relax at home after completing an amazing adventure on Arran.

This campsite on Arran Island won the AA Small Camping Award. Who would not love to be able to look out over the gorgeous Kildonan beach and spot seals? There are also views over Pladda Island with its lighthouse, while viewing the lava rock Ailsa Craig highlight.

Greannan is a 3-star Bed and Breakfast close to some of the best tourist attractions on the Island, the Kings Caves and the Machrie Moor Stone Circles and these can be easily accessed from the B&B.
The house has stunning ocean views along with lush greenery. Some rooms also have views to sea and mountains, so please make a reservation. The rooms have TV with satellite channels and coffee maker.
There are guest lounges in which you can rest and the daily breakfast is served in the bar.

Cruickshanks Boutique B&B is a modern, upmarket B&B located in Whiting Bay. Whiting Bay, a village on Arran, is a beautiful place where we have an excellent selection of hotels and apartments available.
This B&B is owned by a local couple whose aim is to provide a friendly environment and help you enjoy your stay. Bed and Breakfast has a seating area with a TV with flat screens. The private bathroom has a hair dryer. All day long a variety of delicious breakfasts are available.
